שבואות 2013

 I am looking forward to spending chag with  family & friends.
 So with being Gluten & Dairy free what to make for chag .The marathon started with baking on Sunday and I'll finish my cooking tday When I get home from the hospital but the menu will be as follows.Wild mushroom soup ,whole rainbow trouts,spinach mushroom quiche,braised baby bok choy, brussel sprouts,grilled asparagus,roasted baby potatoes,eggplant lasagna,   grillled vegetable and tofu quisidalles ,dill fish pie.pumpkin cheesecake,gluten free chocolate chip cookies and carrot muffins.and last but not least Tirimisu from scratch.And we are invited out for one meal

Home for שבת

So after a crazy busy week at the Hospital actually excited to be cooking for my son & myself for shabbat.
Even though I don't work Friday I still like getting a head start on things Thursday night.So  of course I started with baking  challah and gluten free low fat Carrot cake.Friday night will include chicken soup chock full of root vegetables,Allepo meatball, Swiss chard asparagus,fresh roasted chicken and sumac rice.
Shabbat lunch will start with but of course eggs and onion(caramelized) baby green salad with  my home made tachina, cole slaw,homemade grilled eggplant salad,oven baked schnitzel,my southwestern bean salad ,
assorted chamutzim.
