Leaving the VA and my life in New Jersey was bittersweet I spent my entire life as a jesey girl.
The outpouring of love and support was amazing both at work and my friends and family in Passaic.
One dinner out after another anda beautiful kiduush in my honor my last Sahara in Passaic, with very special guests who made the trip to Pasaic especially for that occasion I can't put in words how special that was to me having the Gurocks,Stolls and Rosenbergs at the kiduush even the Rabbis
Drash was tailored to the occasion. Just thinking back I'm getting tears eyed.
The movers came the 18th of May and my flight was the 20th.motti and I went to NOBo for a very special dinner sooo worth it.the morning of my departure Resa Fogel came by,along with breach & Nikki .A final tearful fairwell .Simmi drove me to the airport I think we cried the whole ride.
But the next chapter begins I landed I eventfully in Oakalnd. With an adorable welcome home sign made by Lizzy.
So many boxes and som many things to a do and unpack but no room.within a couple of weeks things began to fall in place.Rick and I put together a wardrobe form Ikea I must say it worked out better and ome smoothly then we both. Imagined
Started my new job at Highland hospital on the 8th of June .the people are so helpful and friendly and they love to make fun of my New Jersey accent but that's a good thing.so our fourth Shabbat together here as husband and wife we are having company for dinner.
I do love that Rick and I share the cooking.he made his lentil sweiis chard soup and his butternut squash pie in a gluten free crust.i made my tachina(of course) it's a hit here too.broccoli I,roasted potrabella mushrooms, dill rice and we have gluten free coconut blondes for desert.thanks for everyone's support and patience and I hope it won't be as long between my blogs.Shabbat Shalom.
